Welcome to the Community of Joseph!
Our Contemplative Community meets each week to engage in contemplative practice/meditation in support of the vocation of organizational leadership.
All faith and wisdom traditions are welcome. We meet at 7:00pm on Tuesdays in the St. Francis Chapel located in the left rear corner of the Mission Church at Santa Clara University. (The Chapel has a separate outside entrance).
The first hour is devoted to readings from different religious, wisdom traditions, followed by silent prayer and meditation/contemplative practice. In the second hour we engage in religious chant and hold in prayer the struggles of organizational leaders. In the third hour sometimes the Christian Eucharist is celebrated.
Guests are welcome to attend a single hour, or participate in all three hours.
